Wiring up the Board

Below is a Parts Layout Drawing for the Springboard Control Signal Converter. On the left side of the board is Terminal Block ‘X1’. There are four (4) screw terminals on X1. The top-most terminal connection is X1-4 and is labeled ‘Signal Ground Return’. Connect the Input Negative Control wire to this terminal.

Terminal connection X1-3 is labeled “Signal In’. Connect the Input Positive Control wire to this terminal.

Terminal connection X1-2 is labeled ‘-V1 IN’. Connect the Input Negative Power Supply wire to this terminal.

Terminal connection X1-1 is labeled ‘+V1 IN’. Connect the Input Positive Power Supply wire to this terminal.

On the right side of the PC board is Terminal Block ‘X2’. There are six (6) screw terminal on X2. The top-most terminal connection is X2-6 and is labeled ‘+V2 IN’. Connect the Output Positive Power Supply wire to this terminal.

Terminal connection X2-5 is labeled ‘-V2 IN’. Connect the Output Negative Power Supply wire to this terminal.

Terminal connection X2-4 is labeled ‘LOOP+’. Connect the Output Current Loop Positive wire to this terminal.

Terminal connection X2-3 is labeled ‘LOOP-‘. Connect the Current Loop Negative wire to this terminal.

Terminal connection X2-2 is labeled ‘VSIG+ OUT’. Connect the Output Control Voltage Positive wire to this terminal.

Terminal connection X2-1 is labeled ‘VSIG- OUT’. Connect the Output Control Voltage Negative wire to this terminal.
